SUBMISSION DEADLINE - for 2013 GLOBE Awards

Competition is now open for the 2013 edition of the GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence. This program has been presented annually since 2002 to extraordinary companies and industry groups from across Canada, which have shown an exceptional ability to balance competitive strategies and sustainable development.

Note the deadline for entries will now be January 24, 2013 with finalists announced on January 28. The Awards will be presented at a special luncheon in Toronto on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Six categories are in competition for the 2013 edition:

The Award for Corporate Environmental Excellence
The Award for Excellence in Emerging Technology
The Award for Technology Innovation and Application
The Award for Excellence in Urban Sustainability
The Award for Best Green Consumer Product
And the Next Gen Entreprenuer Award

Deadline for Entries: January 24, 2013

If you are, or know of, any organization operating in Canada which fulfills the awards criteria, now is the time to start preparing your nomination.

All finalists will receive extensive media coverage and recognition through GLOBE 2012 and our media partners, The Globe and Mail and BNN. They will also receive prominent placement on both the GLOBE 2014 and GLOBE Awards websites.
