Corporate Member Profile

Corporate Member Profile:
At Nature’s Path, we live for healthy, great-tasting organic foods. It’s why we get up in the morning. But we are also a company that wants to do more than just sell breakfast foods. We aspire to advance the cause of people and planet, along the path to sustainability. And we like to think we put our money where our mouth is. Or rather, where our heart is. Because growing organic, healthy foods in a sustainable way is our passion—the cornerstone of our family company. It’s where, and how, it all began.
Industry Leadership:
At Nature’s Path, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. After all, it’s our mission to leave the earth better than we found it. That’s why we have a triple bottom line of “socially responsible, environmentally sustainable, and financially viable” as we make choices that benefit the environment and communities everywhere. Nature’s Path has always been organic, ever since our founding by Arran and Ratana Stephens in 1985 and we’ve been third party certified since 1990. Nature’s Path is actively involved in ensuring the integrity of organic standards in the US and Canada, and is deeply committed to organic agriculture.
Community Involvement:
One of our goals at Nature’s Path is to give back to and support the communities in which we operate. We strive to donate up to $2 million in cash, food, and in-kind donations to causes close to our hearts each year, including Bite4Bite, 1% for the Planet, and Gardens for Good. The Bite4Bite model ensures that for every bag of Love Crunch sold, we will donate the equivalent in cash and organic food to the food bank up to $1 million per year. Through our partnership with 1% for the Planet, 1% of the sales of all EnviroKidz products goes to nonprofits that support endangered species, habitat conservation, and environmental education for kids worldwide.
Workplace Environment:
Nature’s Path is committed to providing a fair, equitable, and safe workplace for all of our team members. We are largely focused on our health, wellness, and safety programs throughout the company and we are happy to provide programs that exceed industry standard benefits. Team members share in the company’s success through our unique profit sharing program and we believe strongly in providing team members opportunities to provide feedback through multiple formal and informal communication channels such as Town Halls, team member engagement surveys, and our open door policy.
