Certified Organic Associations of BC 2012 Conference
The conference provides educational and networking opportunities for new and established farmers, as well as the general public.
There are three main theme areas that the presentations will focus on:
On-Farm Innovations
Alternative Farm Models
Social Justice
The Keynote speaker is Humberto Rios Labrada and his son Humberto Rios Rodriguez. They will be speaking about the participatory farmer controlled Plant Breeding and Seed Diffusion methodologies and his world acknowledged and prize winning Programs of Innovations for Local Agriculture.
