Sustainability Television is seeking highly skilled and creative IT professionals to join our Web and Mobile infrastructure development team.  In this role you have the opportunity to develop your skills and work on projects that will not only test the limits of your imagination but help Sustainability Television grow into a globally recognizable brand.

Responsibilities for this Position

Maintain up to date knowledge of Sustainability Television and work closely with other members of the development team to plan, maintain, improve new and existing features as well as overall UX.

Produce fully functional end-to-end Web Dev and App; concept, design, test, release, and support.

Take initiative to ID malfunctions, debug, and optimize performance with unit and UI tests

Continually work to maintain and improve the highest standards of data integrity and UX.

Maintain cutting edge knowledge of new research and technology and provide suggestions for quality improvement, new products, features, applications, and operating procedures.

Provide daily and weekly progress reports to team members.

Maintain strict project confidentiality as well as encryption of all information accessed and stored.

Obey all laws and maintain the best interests of the company at all times.

Write clean well documented code.

Personal Traits and Experiential Knowledge

Must be extremely detail and quality oriented.

Knowledge of OOP design priciples

Must have Drupal 7 experience (theming knowledge a strong asset).

Must have knowledge of Javascript, AJAX, CSS, PHP, and MySQL (MAMP or XAMPP)

Self motivated and able to work independently, remotely and in team environments. 

Creative thinker, takes initiative, achieves and exceeds goals and expectations.

Beneficial Assets

Portfolio of Apps released on Apple Store or on Google Play.

Full stack developers preferred.

Competancy in both Android and iOS preferred.

Must be “an out of the box” creative thinker and thrives on the “can do” principle.

Multilingualism is an asset (English essential)

Degree in Computer Science preferred.
