Earth Hour! Only ONE DAY left!

Tomorrow the lights will be switched off to promote environmental awareness. On Saturday between 8:30 and 9:30 pm, turn off your electronics and enjoy a board game night with your friends or a romantic dinner – in candlelight.
Or, you attend one of the many local Earth Hour events. Just google your city and see if an event is happening close to you.

The main Earth Hour event in Canada will be staged in Toronto. If you are close to that – don’t miss the event!

For my part, I will be attending the Earth Hour event at UBC – anyone is welcome to join. (www.facebook.com/commonenergyubc)

At the UBC event, musicians will be performing and  prizes will be given out to some of those attending. Furthermore there is free hot chocolate, s’mores and a lot of fun!
