The Burnaby Board of Trade is Burnaby's pre-eminent business association with over 1,000 members from a broad range of industry clusters. We work to bring businesses together to develop strong networks, to represent the interests of the business community to local government, and to foster economic development. We also provide a range of services and benefits to our members such as specialized or exclusive events and workshops, and discounted rates on common business expenses. In addition we also provide services such as business registration, business name approvals, and certification of Certificates of Origin.

Industry Leadership: 

The Burnaby Board of Trade is considered one of the most innovative and fastest growing Boards of Trade in Canada. We offer over 60 events a year including our Distinguished Speaker Series which this year included talks with NDP Leader Adrian Dix, Minister Kevin Falcon, Minister Wally Oppal and Premier Christy Clark. As the economic development arm of the City of Burnaby we are also involved through our committees in a number of social development issues including Homelessness, The Environmental Pledge Project,Immigrant Integration and Access (a university student career bridging program.)

Community Involvement: 

The BBOT is deeply involved in the Burnaby community. We work closely with and support our not-for-profit organizations and work collaboratively to identify issues that affect both business and the community.
