The Pollinator Link project aims to empower communities, habitat groups and individuals to create effective wildlife corridors using backyard gardens to link habitats isolated by urban matrix. The matrix of roads, houses and fences creates barriers to movement of wildlife. Less birds, butterflies and bees in backyards and increased risk of species loss in isolated patches of bushland. An individual household can be part of a Pollinator Link even if surrounding neighbours are not interested. |

I have studied Adventure Tourism and Business Operations (Diploma) and have just finished my degree in Tourism Management. I have worked as a guide in Canada's National Park system and have been a natural and cultural heritage interpreter for a conservation organization for 3 years. |
