The "Our Future, Our Voice Youth Forum" will bring young people together from across the lower mainland to discuss priorities and possibilities for the future of BC’s economy, provide opportunities to grapple with economic issues, make new connections, and inform a broader provincial conversation. The forum is targeted to those between 16 and 25, however anyone identifying as a youth is welcome to attend.
The event will be held on September 28th from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
When we launched the Pledge in November last year our goal was to have a 100 Pledge Takers by December 2013. Well, we’re thrilled to announce that we have reached that goal 4 months ahead of schedule.
Burnaby, BC – The City of Burnaby has awarded the Burnaby Board of Trade an Environmental Star in the category of Business Stewardship for the development and implementation of the Pledge for a Sustainable Community program.
“It’s a great honour to receive this recognition and all of us at the BBOT are extremely proud to be in the company of the incredible individuals and organizations who have also been recognized this year and in past years,” commented Burnaby Board of Trade President and CEO Paul Holden.
