I am a student at the University of Tennessee who has just returned from living in Australia and backpacking New Zealand. I want to apply my public relations background to environmental conservatism and sustainability. My past PR positions are in the fashion, tourism, and sports industry, but none of them bring the CHANGE our world desperately needs. I am a recent UBC alumni with a degree in English Literature. I discovered Sustainability TV while volunteering in Vancouver. I love the unique concept of Sustainablity TV as it spreads awareness and is openly accessible, with a global influence. It is something that I immediately wanted to be involved with. The importance and relevance of living a sustainable life in modern times is paramount and with this website I feel that I can be part of an international conversation on the topic. |
