This film is about the Alberta tar sands – huge and controversial. It follows ground-breaking scientific research into water pollution and the detrimental impacts on the environment as well as human health from these large-scale oil projects.

This is an orphanage we visited in Ruhija, Uganda. They are supported by Gorilla Mist Camp gorillamistcamp.com/ . Revenue from tourists who stay at the camp sponsors the orphanage and other development in the community. Ruhija is a beautiful place to see gorillas. The high elevation of this park entrance means thicker, more impressive forest. Gorilla Mist Camp is a great place to stay if you want to support local communities bordering the park, which is necessary to protect the forest where the gorillas live.

For our FINALE of the season, we are screening "REVOLUTION" (CDN 2012) 90 min.  Join us as we celebrate another fantastic year with great door prizes and yummy treats from Nature's Fare Markets!
