Please join us for Slow Food Chicago’s Annual Meeting 2012!
 
Date:  Sunday, February 26, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

At the Bike Swap, you can expect:

  • More than 50 bike shops, merchants, nonprofits and individuals offering great deals on bikes, parts, events and gear
  • Demos and presentations about family biking, winter bike commuting and more
  • Bike-themed games and activities
  • Discounted registration for Bike the Drive and the Four Star Bike Tour

Pringle Nature Center depends on volunteers to help teach programs and is offering training sessions for the classes we offer to school groups. Come for some or all of the sessions.

Wednesday: Kindergarten, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. / First Grade, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m

From January 21st through April, the market will run every Saturday inside the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in the South Gallery.

The Chicago Green City Market's outdoor market is located at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton Drive (approximately 1790 N. Clark).

Discounted parking is available for $9.00 for the first two hours with validation in the Chicago Historical Museum parking lot off of Stockton Drive (for validation, patron must make a minimum $5 purchase at the market).

The ninth annual DuPage Environmental Summit will be held Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 from 11:30am to 5pm in the Krasa Center at Benedictine University in Lisle, and is an exciting mix of presentations by industry experts, professional exhibits, and networking opportunities.  The Summit is free of charge and open to the public.  Advanced registration is requested.
