Today, for the first time, I made a liquid laundry detergent. We've been using a powdered laundry cleaner but thought I would give the liquid version a try.
It proved to be so easy to make plus I added some lemon essential oil to make it smell pleasant.
I let it set overnight, and it became a gel-like substance.
The mix I made yielded about 6 litres of laundry liquid. I'll use about 1/2 a cup per load.
The main ingredients are borax, washing soda, sunlight soap (1/2 block) and water.
