DATE: Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
LOCATION:  130 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC Map: https://goo.gl/maps/IM9yv

Come and join MEC, The Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) and Bullfrog Power for the official launch of a historic solar installation!

We will be celebrating the re-launch of Vancouver's first grid-tied solar installation, originally mounted on the SPEC energy demonstration centre. The project was more than doubled in size and reinstalled on the roof of MEC’s Broadway Avenue store. The initiative was spearheaded by Bullfrog Power’s Bullfrog Builds Renewable Accelerator program in an effort to preserve the original solar panels and to fund the expansion and relocation.

Activities will include:
Remarks from SPEC, MEC and Bullfrog Power representatives
A chance to learn more about this historical solar installation
Refreshments from Bullfrog Power partners, including Ethical Bean Coffee and Left Coast Naturals
A chance to win eco-friendly prizes from Bullfrog Power and MEC
Photo opportunity with Bullfrog Power's 8' inflatable frog

We hope to see you there!
