Novex Couriers is one of the largest same-day couriers in Vancouver and has laid out a strategic plan to become a truly sustainable organization, creating a triple bottom line that includes a social, economic and environmental focus.

CEO Robert Safrata explains that “For over 10 years, we at Novex Couriers have aggressively gone ‘green,’ growing our hybrid and electric fleet and minimizing our carbon footprint. However, as we look at Novex’s next 10 years, we realize huge challenges exist for our industry, community, and environment. We know truly audacious ideas that solve these problems exist and we want to make them a reality. We have created The Novex Challenge to discover them and make them happen.”

What is the Novex Challenge?

An online business idea challenge that unearths audacious ideas for environmentally, socially and economically sustainable businesses.
We're looking for ideas for business that are solutions to observed problems that have customers ready and willing to pay. With a preference given to businesses where there is a challenge getting things from A to B.

Why would I give up my awesome idea?

The opportunity to make the idea a reality with a team and financial backing from Novex Couriers.
A cash prize of $2500 CDN
It's not your core business. After all, there's no cost to submit ideas.

How are we judging applications?

Your ideas has to be a solution to an observed problem that has a large market of customers ready and willing to pay.
The idea should solve a problem that an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable business can be built around.
Preference is given to business ideas where there is a challenge getting things from A to B.
Other than that, go nuts!
